Hello everyone ...

I wanted to take a brief moment to introduce you to Bob Seijas icon

, the latest member of our site Advisory Panel.

Bob was one of the original Garand collectors as far back as 1974. He was a co-founder of the Garand Collectors Association and served as its Chairman for the first 15 years of its growth. He has done extensive pioneering research on the M1 icon

and has advised many prominent authors in their work, including Scott Duff, Bruce Canfield, and Billy Pyle. Since stepping down as GCA icon

Chairman, he has devoted his time to the GCA Journal and currently serves as its Editor. He continues to write frequent articles for the magazine, as well as serving on the Grant Committee and advising the Board of Directors of the Association. Bob has an extensive personal collection of Garands which he uses as reference material for his and other authors' work.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. I would know very little of the M1 icon

Garand. By the way, I am sure you have been a "Garand collector" long before 1974.
