A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I will accept PayPal, Zelle, MO and good old checks (and cash if you want to stop by for a tour!). CLICK BANNER to send me a PM for International pricing and shipping. Manufacturer of various vintage rifle scopes for the 1903 such as our M73G4 (reproduction of the Weaver 330C) and Malcolm 8X Gen II (Unertl reproduction). Several of our scopes are used in the CMP Vintage Sniper competition on top of 1903 rifles. Brian Dick ... That is sound advice. Why not establish legal residence in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and "vacation" on Long Island? After all, it wouldn't be much of a drive would it?

Come on, young Villiers: you know the old saying:

"You can never have too much ammo and music, or too many books!"

At least, that's what I tell my wife (for whose rifles I have also reload a "few" rounds).

    Stephen25:

Arizona seems mighty "friendly"; at least it has always been that way on my visits there. Climate is a mite drier as well; shooting irons don't rust as fast there.

Stephen25 (the OP) hasn't been on site since about three hours after posting. Maybe he really is done! Hopefully his gear will find happier homes.

If I can't order ammo on line, then all I have are milsurps in a safe. I don't want wall hangers. I want to shoot. No ammo, no shooting, no interest, no fun. The government doesn't need to take our firearms. Just our ammo. I'm done.

Want to borrow our governor? He tends to be a little crude at times but at least he has a set of balls.

Don't give up! Right now in Canadaicon, we may be on the verge of overturning nearly ALL of the draconian gun control measures that have been dropped on us over the last 20 years.
Our beloved RCMP decided about a week ago to ban about 20 000 so called assault rifles and confiscate them without compensation to owners. The fact that the police are making laws and that legal property is being taken from law abiding citizens has even outraged many anti gunners! The government has promised action and finds itself backed into a corner due to the wording of our Firearms Act. THE CONSERVATIVE GOVERNMENT IS LOOKING AT REPEALLING THE ENTIRE THING, AND OUR MEMBERS OF PARLIMENT ARE ASKING GUN OWNERS FOR SUGGESTIONS FOR NEW LAW!
Any Canadians reading this need to write the Prime Minister's Office and the Public Safety Minister ASAP and demand action. This may be the only shot to stop the nonsense, and we just might get the chance to use and transfer prohibited guns like our FAL's again!
For you Americans, the Canadian gun control scheme has been touted as an example by the antis for years. If we can force it's utter collapse over the next few months, it will be a huge blow to the anti gun movement world wide! Root for us! We need all the support we can get!
