    Spring for sight

I have a Type 99 and I'm looking for a spring for one of the aircraft wings. Any thoughts on where to get one? Also looking for some ammo as I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet.

    Thanks Don G.

Probably have to buy a complete rear sight to get the spring. They used to appear at gun shows. Most came from gunsmiths' "pull off" piles, so if you know any that have been in business for a long time, try seeing if they have any under the bench.

Ammo is probably going to be a load your own proposition for a while. Use 30-06 cases.

It is possible to make the spring out of an old hacksaw blade. Soften the blade with a torch, cut and bend the spring to size, and spring temper it .
