    Good Day All,
Do you have any information on M85 00391F currently stocked in a urban grey, blue, and black McMillan stock and topped with a Schmidt & Bender 10x42 scope?

Parker Hale M85 Serial Number 00391 was manufactured on the 20th April 1989 by Bill Smallwood of Parker Hale, no scope was ordered or fitted , it shot 15.8mm group @100 yards using 10 rounds. It was selected for a JUNGLE CAMO stock. Probably had a change of stock in its history.

    Hello Gil,
Do you have any information on M85 serial number 00310F? I have wanted one of these for many years and just picked this one up today. It’s in an OD green stock and appears to be test fired only.
    Thanks

First time on the forum as a member, absolute wealth of info- looking for feedback on one of my original love affairs- PH M85 ser. no. 00368F wearing green Mcmillan. Originally owned back in the early nineties before we parted company, re-united last year and it still amazes with the accuracy!

    Gordon,

Parker Hale M85 Serial Number 00368F was produced on the 20th April 1989 by Bill Smallwood.
No scope was fitted, but it shot a 11.4mm group at 100 yards with 10 rounds.

It was fitted with a GREEN NATO McMillan stock sold to a buyer by the name of Johnson in the PH journal entry number 260.

Any chance I could impose for 00125F currently in a Camo stock and 00389F currently in a green stock.
    Kind regards

    Peter,

    No problem.
Parker Hale M85 S/N 00125F is in entry 28 of the PH bible produced on the 22nd November 2000. No record of stock fitted.
There is a short statement however beside the entry saying "Sundry spares M85 Barrel & action in 7.62mm with 00116F to Norman Clark Ltd........letter in PH bible Page 32 states Exported in .308."
Consequently no test results for 00125F recorded.
Perhaps a call to Norman Clark Limited might provide further information on that one.

Parker Hale M85 S/N 00389F is in entry 280 of the PH bible produced on the 13th July 1989.
No scope fitted, fired 19.2mm group @100 yards 10 rounds, fitted with Green NATO McMillan stock, sold to Fultons.

    Peter,

In papers referring to sale to Norman Clark Ltd reference letter 050336 in Administration Z999 dated 22/11/2000 entries 1341/1342 in the bible both 00116F & 00125F relate to M85 Barrels and Actions for both no calibre on that entry. I do not hold administration letter referred to presumed destroyed by SABRE in 2000
Hope that helps and good luck,
    Gil
