Need help with early 91TS handguard

I bought a 91TS that was missing the handguard. It uses the early design handguard that has a metal tab riveted to the underside of the handguard to engage the upper band.

These are pictures from the web of this type of early handguard

I have obtained a reproduction handguard but it doesn't have the metal tab. If anyone has an original handguard I need the dimensions of the metal tab (width, length, thickness), the size and type of the rivets, and the exact location of the rivet holes both on the strap and the handguard.
