    Hey guys, In an auction coming up around me there is a Kimber 82G ( star marked ). What is the star marking for? Thanks in advance

    I guess the auction is done and over now, but the star mark for Kimbers was an indication of an above average rifle during acceptance testing. I believe the rifle shot its acceptance group under a 1/2" at 50 yards, at least, that is my memory from an article I read back in the 80's.
