One little caveat before the lights get turned out, that maybe I'll recapitulate on the new board.

While using a mag as a "palm-rest" is fine and good as gold......using the magazine for "artificial support", as in supporting the rifle on a longer 30-shot mag off your chest/coat fold is considered just what it is, "artificial support" and will get you talked to!
