    WW1 Leather Magazine Pouch?

So I just recently bought this pouch. I'm assuming it is a magazine pouch based on the curve, but I don't know what magazine it would hold, and am really curious. If anyone knows, please let me know, I'd really like to know what it really is. Thanks for your help! [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG]

I don't think it's for the mags. That was a canvas pouch and they're around. I think this is for the device it's self and there will be others along to confirm or deny this. Just bear with us for a minute until they focus. They'll be here though.

Wow, that's really cool I had never heard of the Pederson Device. But I do appreciate your help, and anyones help for that matter. I'm patient though no worries.

So then I'm guessing that this didn't hold the Pederson? Since that is fabric and this is leather. Poor assessment?

No, the long black one in the center of the belt there is the Pedersen device case. I don't really know what it's made from. The one you show...I'm fresh out of ideas. Someone will be along shortly...

Well , I'm not up on WW1 stuff , but didn't the MG or cannon crews have a machete type tool that folded up like a giant single blade pocket knife that had a curved blade such that when folded up the tip end was much wider than the piviot end ? Or am I thinking of a WW2 piece ?
