    1970's Flare pistol holster ???

This appears to be a flare pistol holster made by Eagle. It is not in Eagles current catalog. The closure is a typical Vietnam era magazine pouch design. The pouch design is very strange in that the top lip is folded over before the clasp can be secured. It is definitely not a fast draw design, dust proof yes but not water tight and it has no hole to allow for water drainage. Does anyone know what flare pistol fits in the thing?

That's neat. I have three sets of WWII web gear and I've been thinking about collecting a set of Vietnam era gear one of these days.

Its a mid to late 80's universal holster.

It was for use with any large frame auto.

At any rate, YUK. I wouldn't have it if Eagle promised to give it to me.
