    Enforcer Number 017

You were asking about Enforcer #017, according to my records this rifle was still being held by the Metropolitan Police and used for training in firearms handling.

Are you aware of it being located elsewhere ?

Mine are not the best, but they are not too bad. I can think of lots of Enfields I'd rather have but instead of constantly striving for more, sometimes it's good to be satisfied with what one has...

The rifle was sold in the 80's to a UKicon dealer and then exported to Canadaicon... I was the importer of 017.

Thats very interesting (and again throws doubt onto the records of the Police).

The Met Police purchased 45 Enforcers and when asked about their disposal (via a Freedom Of Information request) the answer was that 24 of them had been retained for training purposes.
Number 16 had a broken stock and was sent to the Metroploitan Police Museum.

How many of these did you import ?
