Can you ID this rough shape 6.5 Carcano?

Hey everyone, I have very limited experience with Carcano's, with that said A family member was recently passed down a very rough shape Carcano, I currently don't have physical have access to it but It appears to be missing parts. It does have solid rifling and a complete bolt (carbine bent handle) which seems to function fine and the only markings he could find was 6.5 and Made In Italyicon, I tried comparing to pictures online and I couldn't come up with 100% positive ID. I want to order some parts for it so I can get it back to fair condition and make it a decent range gun for him. Thank you, I currently only have one picture of it and I'll get more if need be.

The photo is really inadequate for reliable identification, but it looks like a Fucile M91/41. The bolt handle was bent down as part of the sporterization. Unless it is a marvellously accurate rifle, it is IMHO not worth looking for the individual components to return it to the original military configuration.

If it is a very good shooter, and you want to restore the military configuration as an exercise, then it will almost certainly be cheaper to look for a donor rifle with a lousy barrel than look for individual parts. But from what you write, it sounds as if the original markings have been scrubbed. So despite all your effort, it will remain a pretty poor example with zero collector interest..

If you just want a shooter, you'll first need to determine exactly what parts you're missing. Another big problem is going to be ammunition. I think Prvi Partizan is loading it, but I haven't seen any in a while.

I also think you have a 91/41 base on the length of the rifle and rear sight. m91 have bigger rear sight because they can be set to 2000m. M91/41 can be set to 1000m.
