A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Chuck, can you do bluing? I have a 1918 Colt that most of the finish is gone. All of the marking are clear and strong but I would like to try and get it back to or as close too original as possible. I was working with Bill but unfortunately he passed away before he and I could work out the details.
    Thanks

    Who moved my cheese?

Yeah Chuck it's different. I was going to post a picture for that Ithaca mainspring housing thread that Johnny answered, but couldn't get my photo to maintain a reasonable quality at the 171K upload limit. Of course, those who have seen some of my alleged 'high quality" photos on CSPicon would probably challenge if the originals were of such a nature to be declared reasonable quality to start with...lol

BTW - im in SC so I can translate 2, maybe 3 dialects of redneck

    Regards,
    Pat

Yea, I'm still looking at all the new goodies also, this site has great potential and lay-out but I miss the old site. It was Plain-Jane with no frills and very easy to use (sounds like the original 1911's ).
