    When were the 1903 bolt stops used?

    I've checked my resource books and the Internet, but can't find any specific information on the use of the bolt stop on the Springfield 1903. Any assistance will be appreciated.

    the end of Bolt stops on the 1903

    Production of new bolts ,with modificationto the bolt for bolt stops ended in 1942
