It is a type IV M1icon Carbine trigger housing. It is made from stamping and brazing, due to war time exigencies. I believe Underwood, IBM, and Standard Products used them. Sort of ugly, but totally functional. I have one on my Inland late model rebuild mix-master.

Here's a link to pics of mine, in situ.
I just got a nice Six digit Inland post-war rebuild.

I've seen S T from Talon Inc. and BE-B integrated from I.B.M. on stamped Std Prods housings.

Stamped housings were used by Std Prods, I.B.M., Quality Hardware, Underwood, and Rock-Ola. Designed as a way to reduce material and manpower. Started appearing at the end of 1943.

Thanks all, I feel foolish because a recent Std Prod acquisition has such a TH on it. Of course it doesn't look Butt Ugly like the one pictured.
