    F1 magazine pouch

Found it at a gun show yesterday. I think it's an Australianicon F1 smg magazine pouch. Whatever it is, Sterling magazines fit very nicely!

I never did see those when I was there, even though the guns were on limited issue. Yes, Sterling mags would fit.

I never saw one either. I never had an F1 though although when I had an SMG we put the SMG magazines in our usual pouches

We had a specific pouch in the 82 pattern webbing. Before that we used the 51 pattern basic pouch. They seemed to work a bit better anyway, more of a hold all.

    Cool

Pretty rare bird, that one was made by the Commonwealth Government Clothing Factory so would have been the trials pattern before being made by QANTAS who made most of the issue webbing. Never saw one issued in my time but then no one in their right mind wanted to carry the F1.
