M1 Garand Spare Parts Roll M13

    Good morning, all.

I bough at ebay this M13 Spare Parts Roll for M1icon Garand or mayme Browning rifles.
I wonder if it is original or just a repro.
Should it be original as the seller stated in the auction, what is its year of make?

    Here are some pictures.
    Thank you.

It looks original to me. There were so many around, I think it's good. Thing is though, I'm pretty sure it's for the 1919A4 MG....30 cal MG. We used them with the 1919A4s called C1, C4, C5 during my time of carrying them. Not the M1icon rifle.

Here's more examples... Genuine Ex-US Army WW2 Spare Parts Roll M13 | eBay

They are way to cheap and common to reproduce. Yours looks good
They were originally made for the 1919 then used for different applications but never usedfor the Garandicon that I know of

Dual-tone webbing was manufactured in 1943. It was a transition from OD#3(khaki) to OD#7(green).

    Tool Roll M6 D5274

The M6 tool roll was for the M1icon rifle and issued one per squad. The one that is in the photos is WW2 with the two leather thongs - also have a M6 from 1953 which is a lighter fabric and has fabric thongs.

It will take years to locate all the correct tools to complete the tool rollAttachment 53511Attachment 53510
