Hi, you can install any trigger so long as you follow the instructions and have some kind of mechcanical ability. You must read the instructions more than once. An easier alternative is to use one of the new "drop In" triggers available. They go in VERY easy. I see that Pact has a new trigger out and it looks very easy to install but up there in price.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. I picked up a RR trigger and put it in my Bushy. Shoots better than me and it was a cheap fix.

If you want a single stage instead go with Timney. They come in 3# or 4# and just drop in less than 5 min. The only thing is read the directions because there are two set screws that you tighten after you drop in.

looks like triggers might have dried up, some hints on stone for the stock dpms trigger, looks like a small stone might take out some of the potholes in the first stage.

other option wait for 6 months for back order

With the upper opened take the hammer pressure off of the trigger and see how the trigger feels. If it feels fine then stoning isn't going to do much good.
