    USN? MKII leather scabbard question

I have seen these marked USN on top front. I have one identical in most respects to these but unmarked. Rivets and stitching are the same, differing only in the rivet placement. On the back are initials and what looks like a unit number applied with paint, so I think original military, but not sure of the time period. Can anyone shed more light on this? Thanks, Bob

    Sorry Jim

I can't do pics. Never could. Computer illiterate, I'm afraid. The top flares out for the belt. There is a leather spacer at the top opening but no spacer at the tip. Hole for the lanyard. I know everyone loves pictures. I'm sorry that I can't provide them. Regards, Bob

Can anyone at least tell me if there are any unmarked WWII MK2 leather scabbards without seeing a pic? That would be helpful. Thanks, Bob
