To bad. I should have thought you could have found 9mm ammo in the system.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Other than 5SFG, SEALs, MACV-SOG, and the CIA spooks, the "Septics" didn't officially have any 9mm weapons. Hence, they had no 9mm ammo in their normal supply stream. I doubt the ARVNs, Thais, Koreans or Filipinos had any 9mm weapons - everything I saw them use was US made.

    We did of course.

We/Australiaicon had plenty of 9mm. as we had pistols and SMG's. I wonder if anyone remembers when the wharfies went on strike that dragged on and on a bit and a lot of our resupply ammo came from UK stockpiles in North Malaya. All Britishicon marked!
