    yard sale purchase

i picked up 2 marine score books from '55 and '56 for 2 bucks. they belonged to a pfc william stamm, service number 1553904. the m1 rifle serial numbers he used were 1960961 and 1961209.
it sure would be cool to have these books if i had one of those rifles. if anybody here as one of them, let me know.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. For some reason I feel that most of the M-1's used at PI, ITR, or any of the training camps, are long gone, probably parted out and krushed.

I remember the one I used at Camp Geiger was really a dog.

PI, and all through .... service number 18125XX (secret, wouldn't want someone to claim it's their number)
