Current shows about WW I on TV

This probably pertains to Australiaicon only at the moment but a current show "The War That Changed Us" (Episode 2 tomorrow night) will be of interest to milsurp collectors generally and to Lee-Enfield lovers in particular as there are a number of the elusive left-handed versions shown.

    Here's one:

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. You mean the reversed negative Enfield.

The History Channel or the American Heroes channel, not sure which is doing a series on WWI that started about 3 or 4 weeks ago. I caught the first two episodes and they seemed very good. I'm not as knowledgeable on WWI so I can't pick out errors in the same manner as later wars but this series is nearly all showing vintage although colorized news real clips. They are following the war in chronological order. It has a very strong documentary feel to it which I like. It does not appear to be butchered up with WWII tanks being substituted for Renault tanks, etc like the series on the leaders of WWII and their indoctrination in WWI.

BBC TV´s been inundating us for weeks with programmes on WWI, badly re-enacted and written by all those trendy, left-wingers who take any opportunity to emerge from the woodwork. `Tis an insult to all those who fought for their country.

It appears to be an Arisakaicon, but I'm not good enough with those to say which. A type 99? An older one?
