Anyone have experience with the CMP C stock?

I plan on shooting the 190sa3 I just got a fair amount and would like a pistol grip stock on it. Is the CMPicon C stock a decent one?

Yes, I bought one a few years ago for my 03-A3 project.
The stock is made by Boyd's for the CMPicon and is stamped with the CMP "cartouche".
At the time, you could order the stock with either a '03 or 03-A3 hand guard. I currently don't see the 03-A3 option any longer, so you may have to call and see if they have any more hand guards. The stocks are the same for either version.

The only issue I had with the stock was the rear screw hole needed to be opened up slightly so the screw would not touch. Other than that, it was a nice fit.

You can see the stock and other pics of the project here.

Thanks. Orders in. The hand guard isn't a problem. The one on the rifle is pretty nice. I'll probably strip it and refinish it when I do the stock.
Nice restoration by the way. Very good looking rifle and it shoots as good as it looks.

    Boyd Stocks

Boyds are a POS . Rear bolt hole is mis drilled.Rear bushing hole will need reboring realighing & reset with accuraglass , poor fit at the rear tang . Just in case others were planning to order a boyd . Look on Epay or Broker for a GI Keystone ,The extra you pay is worth it in the long run
