M1 Garand with scope over bore CASM mount

so I always wanted a M1icon Garand with scope over bore.
Finally CASM mount and M1 Garand Thumb Saver stops the clip from coming out, just reload from the top the 8 rounds.

    all non permanent mods

Rifle is a HR, VAR barrel Danishicon return from CMPicon

    SS 3x9 Mil scope

When I had this rifle as a scout rifle it shot 1 MOA, interested to see what it does now

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. You know, it might just shoot like a b@stard...? Those laminate stocks don't let much moisture in and stay pretty rigid.

Yes agreed, I also put in a schuster gas plug so I can use commercial ammo without over pressure

I'd like to see it fed an eight round enbloc.

Apparently you insert one and it stays. Then you reload singles through the top. Loose...

If you use a Garandicon "thumb saver" (sold elsewhere) you insert an empty en-bloc clip and can single load and shoot all rounds - clip doesn't eject. Kind of makes it like a Johnson in some respects.

But you want the repetition. The idea is 8 rounds. You just have to load singles. I'm not afraid to do it. I'm friends with my M1s. They don't bite me.
