    US M1917 Helmet

I found this M1917 helmet at the flea market yesterday for $65.00. Looks complete other than the paper tag.

Oil skin liner marked H. H. Long 18-7. (July of 1918)

Chin strap initialed VS. Maker stamped R.R. COB (I think)

    Lot Stamped 192 ZD.

Nice condition! It's hard to find these with pliable straps - (or any chin strap at all)
