    Barrel installation

I'm installing a new barrel in my A1 upper. It tightens up at1 o'clock, but is loose at 12 o'clock. What are my options? Thanks for any advice.

Do you mean the serrated barrel nut won't allow the gas tube through when tight? You have a tooth in the way? Did you grease the threads?
