1903 Springfield receiver and barrel how much to build into shoter ?

Way back in 1995 I bought 1903 Springfield receiver and barrel dated 1917 for 15 bucks for no good reason . Is it worth building into a working rifle for hunting again ? From what little Goggling I ve done it seem like what I paid 15 bucks for sell for 150 bucks today. Now I wish I had 15 of them laying around . I don't have anything other then the receiver and barrel . Would I be better off just selling it and using the cash on something else .
    thanks for the r info

Post pictures of it. If it's complete and original, don't convert it into a Sporter. An auction could bring you as much money as to buy an already existing sporter.

Yes, I agree that selling it off is probably best and pictures would help. If the barrel is in good unaltered condition with the sight bases then it is worth a bit. Low number receivers don't bring much though. Salt Flat

I ll get my wife whom gun safe it's in , to send me a picture. Might take a week since I m on the road. Thanks for the info . I think I ll sell it or trade it at a gun shop . Maybe get one of those brake open single shots that you can put 10 different barrels on including black powered.

Don't take it to a pawn shop, you will take it in the shorts. Sell it on a forum or GB instead.
