    Greek .303

For those of you that didn't get around to ordering this ammo yet it's still available but only
in the 480 round bulk case. The stripper ammo is sold out.
I really didn't need more but I ordered some tonight. The price is right. I have good results with the Greek ammo.

Done went and ordered 2 cases. Tired of the usual US commercial brass, and don't have enough Prvi brass about to matter. Still have a lot of South African ammo, but it's all Berdan primed. May pull some Pakistani bullets and ancient Britishicon MkVII projectiles and see how they do in the Greek brass. But that's been on the agenda for several years, now...

For those in the US who have kept all of their once-fired, Berdan-primed "European" brass (NOT the "Commonwealth" stuff with the "big" .25" copper primer cups)...................

    See here for supplies.

Most of the brass thus primed is of high quality and it is not much of a challenge to remove the fired primers and remove any residual crimp. As most of the original primers were lead, NOT mercuric based, the brass will be fine. Perfect for all that NNY / PPU .303 berdan-primed brass floating about

This size primer will also work in many of the other "European" military and sporting cases. The old RWS equivalents would have been the 5627 nickel-plated version or the heavier-cupped 5608 "mil-spec" one. Also fits 7.62 x 39 "surplus" cases, steel and brass (Jugo), and some of the Chinese-made, brass-cased 7.62 x 54 as well, if you are so inclined.

    Waste not, want not!

    Addendum to my last:

From the site: "KV762N is the Nato (.217") size and correct Cup height for all .217" Berdan Pocket cases of "European Military Rifle" calibers (7.9mm, 7mm, 7.65mm, 8mm Steyr, Euro .30/06, Euro .303 Br., 7.62R Albania, Czechicon, etc. 7.5MAS, 7.5 Swissicon, 6.5 Swede, 7.62 Nato.)"

At $209.00 per 5,000, (plus the usual freight etc), that seems almost reasonable.

Sadly, not much use to us here in the Antipodes................

As far as I know the Greek manufactured ammo has not been corrosive.
It is boxer primed. If in doubt, clean as if it is. One extra step.

Here I sit reading how all of you are basking in the glory of buying this ammo and being a Canadianicon can't get a single round, well not from what I can see. Good on all of you for jumping on the chance, yes I am jealous.
Why use a 50 pound bomb when a 500 pound bomb will do?
