    1917 Remington Ammo Belt

I recently bought an IMA repro ammo belt for my M1icon and just now realized that i still don't have a belt for my 1917 Remington Rifle. Will the M1 ammo belt hold the 5 round clips of the Remington? I will definitely be buying some original ammo belts in the future but I'm pretty strapped for cash right now. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Yes. The original belts had the clip pouches broken in two with a strap that held the second 5 rd clip in place. They started as a cartridge belt for the 1903 Springfield.
