A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. So boring for me to see this lot on a a daily basis yawn yawn......only joking our Airborne Assault museum is based there too. I am so honoured to be able to see it, and ever mindful that so few did so much so we could enjoy our freedom from both sides of the pond!!

Great difference in speed between the bi planes and the low wings but the sound of the Merlins that whine is awesome anyone know if the FW-190 is the only one in the world flying and I reckon 3 inclusions would have been good a Lanc, Mossie and a B-29.

There are a lot of dollars flying in that air, great to see.
Balbo was coined from the famous Italianicon aviator who flew a formation of flying boats from Italy to the USAicon for demonstrations think late 20's or early 30's
