Photos needed of Ohio Company K 3rd Infantry 1916 later the 148th Infantry in 1917

    All:

I'm working on a project tied to a new addition 1912 Colt Model of the 1911 US Army. I have some history of the Major Leon Edgar Smith who owned it, I'm looking for pictures of the units he was tied to.

1916 Ohio National Guard Company K 3rd Infantry part of the expeditionary force sent in 1916 to pursue Pancho Villa on the Mexican border at El Paso, Texas.

1917 Ohio National Guard was re-designated to the 148th of Ohio and sent to the Western Front.

Anyone out there have any pictures they might be willing to share for my scrap book on the Major's unit?

    Greatly appreciated!
    David
