    Scan of my uncle's WWI service record

    I inserted it in the original post about M1903 #165,617, but it didn't get noticed, so I'll scan it again. Note the changed name. He enlisted under an assumed name. Rifle s/n is at the bottom of the page. He shot Marksman one year and Sharpshooter the next.

    One thing I looked for in his records was to see if he served under any company-grade officers who later "made good" but I couldn't read most of their signatures.
