    Vz54 scope mount screws

    Hello All,

I am searching for the dimensions of a two scope mount screws.
After years of EBay stalking I purchased the scope, mount and cover for my Czechicon Vz54. The mount is missing the two screws that hold it the rifle’s dovetail. They are not the standard metric hardware store thread and our local Fastener Store could not help me.
I have seen pictures of and understand the function of the bolt handle in mounting these screws.
I need help with the dimensions and thread pitch. Thanks for your assistance.

I have a couple, I will attempt to measure and report back.

I have seen around 3 variations, would you have a photo?

    Geez. You've been away.
"...standard metric hardware store thread..." No such thing as that. You have or have access to a metric screw thread gauge tool? Readily available in Home Depot anyway.
And I think it's worse than it appears. I think those screws are specific to the Vz and are probably some daft metric thread that isn't available now. Gunparts doesn't even list the rifle. It was only made for 3 years 65 years ago. Dunno if the mou8nt is the same as the one used on Mosin Nagants or not.
There's a decent picture of the mount here.

    Thank you all.
Painter, that looks like my scope and I’ll check out the EBay post.
Lee Enfield I’ll await the measurements. Thx.
Will try to post a picture.
