Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. I am reminded of Bush's trip when he took the place of one of the servers on the chow line.
Then we had the hillercow who not only arrived late but then barged to the head of the chow line with her entourage of toadies.

Kind of reminds me when John [the Coward] Kerry went to Iraq, wound up in mess hall [dining facility] and no one would sit at the table with him. Silent descent is the term I believe.
