    Checking In...

I was "Liam" on the CSPicon and will continue to be "Liam" on this forum. If you lost your moniker due to the switch-over, please relay old name for the first bunch of posts until I can remember your new name. I'd feel a little silly giving John Beardicon my opinion on a particular M1903 trait simply because his new moniker is "Cleaning Rod" or some such.

Good to see others I know.

    Liam

Just got here. Da...n, are Dick and Gloria OK? What's the story on Joustericon? Geez I went to the big gun show in Louisville today and I've lost another old friend to cancer. Tonight, I check in with CSP and find this site. It's like losing an old friend all over again. Dick if you're out there, hope all's well. Dave Oberg aka Rodfac

I think that most of us will be able to keep our Moniker as we each check in on the new site. I was just thinking, something new these days, if the log in we use for CSPicon also applies to the other Milsurps forums. In reading the posts on the CSP forums I continue to see the same regular posters as well as a few that have been away for awhile. Have not seen a post by Gus Fisher or John Beardicon unless I missed their post.

I find that it will take a while to get familiar with navigating the new site however it is not really difficult. Have not posted a photo yet but will get there once a photo seems appropriate.

So far the experience has been good and I look forward to reading more posts from old friends.

I see Rick has not misplaced that Afgan Blanket yet. His posts and photos wouldn't be the same without it.

By the way shooter, where did you find your Avatar? Kind of fits in with the moniker rather well.
