i've done it using a lee mould for the bullet, seated them without sizing from the mould with no problems

I for one never give out reloading data. Too much risk. But I do have almost every reloading manual book out there. For new calibers I get data from the current gun magazines printed monthly.

Well, be it on your own head to use this one but I have been using 3.2 grains of Clays International for years under a 95 grain lead head in Starline cases. My EG Mak and two CZ82s do seem to like the load. One of these days I will chronograph it for posterity. Dave_n

I can add just a bit of info.

Just got me a Lee 95-grain, 9 Mak. bullet mold (I believe it's .364" or .365" diameter, but I'm on vacation now and don't have the mold handy to refresh my aging memory). Have only run one melt of wheel-weight metal through it in the two weeks or so that I've have it (it was on "back-order" for more than two months at the Lee factory).

The mold casts great, bullets drop smoothly from it's double cavities, and I've shot them unsized -- just lubed with Lee Liquid Alox.

Have very, very limited shooting experience with the lead bullet so far, but a load of 3.2 grains of Green Dot powder places the lead slugs at the same point-of impact at 25 yards as my jacketed-bullet load (Horn. 95-grain hollow point/3.4 grains Green Dot).

Haven't put the cast load over a chronograph yet, but I'd guess it at a mild 900 FPS or so. I've only had time to fire a magazine-full through my Polish Radom P64, so I can't say anything definitive about accuracy, but the lonely, single group I fired looked good (about 3" off sandbags at 25 yards).

About all I can say is that the cast bullet load functioned perfectly in the pistol, shot to point of aim, appears to have some accuracy potential, and MAY have produced signs of light barrel leading -- I really have to put more holes through paper before I sign off on the load.

I'm sure I'll play around with different bullet lubes and slightly-altered over-all cartridge length/bullet seating depths, etc., but haven't had the chance yet.

Anyway, the Lee 95-grain cast bullet appears to have potential when paired with 3.2 grains of Green Dot, the only cast-bullet load I've had the time to try in my sweet, little, new-to-me, Polish-surplus gat.

The Lee bullet drops from my mold at about .367" when cast from straight wheel-weight metal. That's pretty large for the 9 Mak. caliber bore, but is seems to shoot o.k. unsized so far. That's good, 'cause I don't yet have a 9 Mak. caliber bullet sizing die.

I'll spout some more drivel here when I get more experience with the Lee cast bullet.

I am surprised you had trouble finding data.
