    Happy New Year

I just watched the ball drop and the entering of 2015.

Hoping those of you who stayed out tonight get home safe this morning.

Also looking forward to a great year here on the forum. Who knows, possible new finds in a closet somewhere, to interesting discussions on topics of interest.

    Happy New Year to all.

    Jim

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. That's pretty shiny Frank. But I don't think I'd take it into battle.

I am more of a Military carbine guy. I have had some aftermarket carbines, but none at this time. And I don't ever see adding then again. I've never had a family connection to one to see the need.

It's not the only bling military type rifle out there. Look at all the stuff on commemoratives? Everyone has their owns tastes and desires of what they want. Part of the fun in collecting.
