    question on F/S 3rd pattern.

I have been trying to post pics. No joy. I got an excellent condition 3rd pattern Britishicon Fairborne dagger. Ringed handle. "b2" on guard with "ENGLAND" over it. Mold cast "4" on butt. I've shown my pics to John Fischer, John Gibson, Frank Trzaska, and Mike Silvey. They all confirm its correct late war. Much misinformation is out there on these. Two so called experts from the UK assure me it's a fake worth 20 quid. I got it from Joe Salter. If anyone who collects these wants to see it..contact me at "waffenamt@aol.com" I will send detailed pics..scabbard is near New marked "ENGLAND" too.

I can't seem to find the reference in Robert Buerlein's "Allied Fighting Knives" but the ones with Englandicon stamped on were imported by a hardware store in the US. Mine has the same B2 on the crosspiece and England stamped on the brown sheath.
