You said it right, takes all the fun out.
I would think shooting this thing would become boring. Requires no skill nor practice so what pride would there be in making tough shots. Absolutely innovative and has the cool factor though. Bit pricey for my humble shooting needs that's for sure.

I´ve just transitioned to using a scope. Same thing. Takes a lot of the fun out of shooting an Enfield.

There is a nice bit of empty rail. Perhaps to slap on some wood furniture?

It’s not intended for recreational shooting. This is a tool to aid in getting the work done.

Get onto their web site and watch them get first round hits (purported) from memory 1036 or 1136m looked like a 338 Lap bolt action model they make these were not moving targets but very much a long ways away.
I do not know how the weapons system will go in a battlefield environment, but I feel the USAicon would be looking at it, just like the chap who built metal storm this system of sentry guns has made the night sneaks nasty, this system can also utilize a multi-barrel to fire a million rounds a minute it is there on u-tube have a watch (Metal Storm)

First, find a rifle that´ll be guaranteed to punch a hole in the previous hole at 1000 metres.
