    Krag serial number

Would appreciate some help with this Kragicon 1898 serial number, 172907. Is there a possibility that it was issued to the 26th. Infantry in the Philippines ?

    Thanks, Kab

Here's one set of numbers I have...my book shows 172905,172906 and 172908,172909 as all being 26th infantry so I would think it's a safe bet...just yours missing there.

    Kragicon rifle and carbine.
