Ross M-10 Bolt

This may sound like a strange question, but is a Ross bolt originally blue or originally white?

Case hardened...well partly, partly blue too.

I'm referring to the external portion the safety rivet is driven through, fyi; just wasn't sure how to treat it.

If you're re-doing it, blue would be good.
