these are not uncommon nor common if that makes sense , nothing commonwealth does really , there are two versions that are commonly found - one has red scales and the other black , the red are more common than the black , both use the same scabbard , a common no5 , but you need to know that fits a number of commonwealth bayonets and is desired for all from the no5 bayonet for the "jungle carbine" shortened and lightened rifle to the no4 bayo for the no4 rifle thru the SLR and its L1 bayonets ,

buying it without the scabbard is not the end all but it means another search , just so you know , with the scabbard and frog around $100-125 US without substantially less , depending on condition and other considerations , but just MHO of coarse

If you pick around Ebay and Gunbroker for instance you'll get a better handle on availability and selling prices for your area. Don't believe the seller's guff though always. Many of these vendors are full of balloon juice when it comes to advertising...

For comparison UKicon price (complete) is around £150 this is going by a recent collectors fair. Scabbard shouldn't be hard to find.

Scabbards are not that hard to come by. $20-$30 on average I believe. These bayonets seem to be up and down price wise. Generally always over $100 but how high seems to depend on the bidders. Seen them over $200 on occasion, not often though.
