    Colt's Anniversary 1911 the 1911 - 2011!

I bought this from a friend in Texas who needed some funds. Its a Colt Tier III Anniversary Model 1911-2011. A clone of the issue 1911 of WWI. He also included a Colt Pistol Stand and a El Paso Saddlery US Marked 1916 Holster with hanger. It came with the exterior cardboard shipping box, white outer box, blue Colt box, with the inner replica "issue" box with copy of the original Government 1911 Manual.

and just to see if you're paying attention; here's my summertime friend, Squirrely...just to remind me spring is around the corner...

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Nice looking gun Chief. The rig too. As for the black squirrel, the .45 will take care of him.
    Regards, Jim

The hawk my wife saw in one or our shrubs the other day may already have taken care of Squirrely!

Very nice looking gun, also the holster rig. I live in El Paso and have been to the leather shop where they make all types of leather goods. They are made the old fashion way by leather makers from Mexico, it is becoming a lost art. Leather goods made by El Paso saddle Co. are becoming quite collectible. Good catch!

I believe the extra $2.27 it would have cost to polish off the pucker left by the roll die would have been money well spent.

Let me suggest that you make that the last time you ever put it into the holster (unless you plan to shoot it).
