    Damaged Dreyse Stock

Good Morning. Am thinking about this 1854 but need to know if there is a good stock-maker who could repair or replace this stock. All else is OK on the rifle. Thanks, Randy

Boy, that would probably take more Bondo than my '66 Mustang needed when I live in NY. Right now went Googling for stock-makers. Got a few hits but always open to personal recommendation. Thanks, Randy

Try Dunlap Woodcrafts. He makes very nice stocks, I've put together a Whitney model 1855 rifle musket and a model 1842 rifled musket using his stock blanks.
