Damaged Dreyse Stock

Good Morning. Am thinking about this 1854 but need to know if there is a good stock-maker who could repair or replace this stock. All else is OK on the rifle. Thanks, Randy

Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Boy, that would probably take more Bondo than my '66 Mustang needed when I live in NY. Right now went Googling for stock-makers. Got a few hits but always open to personal recommendation. Thanks, Randy

Try Dunlap Woodcrafts. He makes very nice stocks, I've put together a Whitney model 1855 rifle musket and a model 1842 rifled musket using his stock blanks.
