    Last weekend's flea market finds

Hey everyone. I went to a somewhat large flea market about an hour away from me last weekend since I had to drive my dad out to a golf tournament just down the road from the market. Anyway when I dropped him off he gave me $100 and told me to have fun at the flea market. When I got there I expected to see mostly junk and knick knacks but surprisingly there were some military items squeezed in with all the old glassware and dirty shirts. I found this marine corps dress belt for $20 though I can't pinpoint how old it is (maybe Vietnam era?). I also found an intact ruptured duck emblem on the loose for a whopping $2. As I was leaving I went into another store that was selling old clothes and found the belt I needed for my ww2 marine corps service jacket! For $25 it came home with me and it looks good with its new belt. I also found a helmet there but I didn't recognize what kind of helmet it was and for $150 the rusty helmet with no liner stayed on the table. What I thought was an air raid helmet turned out to be a ww1 british helmet that someone behind me paid full price for, which I could see if it had been a better condition piece (I probably would've offered $40 for it since it was in terrible shape). Anyway I ended up pocketing the rest of the money and left somewhat satisfied even though they were just smalls. Hope you all like these pieces and all comments are welcome.
