Even if you’re looking at the ip log you can’t tell for sure what he is reading. He could use another ip, phone or whatever and you wouldn’t know.

If he’s a troll mr.1903 took his bait hook, line and sinker. If he’s not a troll, you’ve got to wonder why he disappeared. A person who didn’t know what they had would probably keep reading the thread.

Yes, if you have admin access on vB you can read “PM’s”. I would be disappointed if that was has happening here, but I am familiar with vB and know it’s an option that’s available. “PM’s” are not really private.

vB does have some good security, like hashed passwords. But Jelsoft, the creators of vB dropped the ball on PM’s. IB, Internet Brands, who bought vB are just venture capitalists. They don’t care about anything that doesn’t affect profits. That’s just the nature of the vc beast.

If you were at a gunshow and found one of these on the table with no barrels , it would be a legal bare reciever . I could buy it and have barrels fitted to it of over 18 inches and have a legal gun . I could also register it on a form one ( making ) . When I recieved approval , if I found a set of original barrels , I could fit them to it legally .
Having a complete one without approval would be illegal.

I currently have a project in the wings I need to do . I want to make a M1icon carbine SBR . There was a batch of demilled barrels that the govt. demilled by cutting them down . Dealers cleaned up the cuts and reinstalled a front sight on the cut down barrel. They will allow a type 1 band to set between the standard wood stock and the front sight for assembly and breakdown . My friend bought one ....legal because he has no M1 . They have dried up now . It took me a while to find a good stripped reciever . Now I've misplaced it . When I find it I'll paper it , then buy the barrel from my friend , and assemble a legal SBR.
    Chris

no matter what anyone tells you... this is this is the ONLY way to make that gun legal.
if you try and do paper work on said weapon... the ATF will take it..

The short barreled 1894's are added to the list all the time. So ATF is taking registrations on them. So why not one of these? The "no more MG's" didn't apply to SBR's.

The barrels are 14" and I am aware of other weapons statute etc. Im looking for possible places to look concerning serial no. tracking, date of manufacture, who the weapon was distributed to etc.
