Krag SRS lookup

Hello everyone

New to the forum and bought my first Krag rifle built in 1896. I collect U.S. surplus rifles, so when I saw this in the gun store I couldnt pass it up.

Anyway, I've noticed some people doing an SRS lookup on their rifle's SN. I have never heard of an SRS lookup before, but can someone look up mine? It is 54,922. Any info would be great. Thanks

Nothing even close and there's no pattern of issue around that number...
