Has it been modified with the radius cut? What would you like to hear about it? If you are looking to buy, measure the piston and check the pad for wear.

Yea I'd like to hear about it if you wouldn't mind telling me about it. And I didn't know if there was a difference in one with D35382-W.R.A and one with D35382 W.R.A. I didn't know if the dash meant anything. And I don't know anything about a radius cut. This is all new to me.

    Dash

I have seen both types in early trigger housings, seems like mixed use. 146219 has a no-dash housing, 163103 has a dash. Maybe rods, too?

    Dash (2)

I mixed that up, the later one has a dash, the earlier one does not.

The WRA op rods with the dash in the part number have the slant cut handle, used on all WRA M1icon rifles up to the Win-13. WRA op rods with no dash in the part number have the straight cut on the op rod handle and were used on the Win-13 rifles. Win-13 WRA rifle are the ones made in 1945 with all the changes to parts that had taken place over the war years. They were made starting in January 1945 with a new serial number series starting with 1601150. Only about 40k were made before production ended with the close of WWII.

Not all slant cut op rods have the dash. Some late manufactured slant cuts did not have the dash.

Good for "shootin" not so much for collecting: A modified with "radius cut" op rod off a late WWII Win-13 Winchester:
