    Chassepot Cartridge Modification II

Good Afternoon. Keeping with trying to speed up the process, simplify steps, and reduce costs, I have started using 1/2" round price tags to cover the musket cap and to close off the end of the cartridge.

The fit is great and the adhesion is good. Not sure if they can sit on a finished round and in the ammo box for years and stay glued. I can say that I now do not need to use punches and am very close to not having to use Super Glue. Randy
