What happened to the 'search' function?

Tried to look up some old threads, can no longer use the 'search' option. Is it just me or is this something going on with the site?

    Working fine....

Perhaps you've somehow changed the size of your browser window so you can't see it any longer?

I've used both type of search function recently, seemed to be fine. The Google type site specific search is generally better for topics, but the old style is good for looking up things like thread authors or forum specific subjects. Haven't tried 'em in the past few days though.

Often the search function will not work if you are using AOL as your browser.
Simple enough to switch to IE to search.

Nope, doesn't work for me. When I click on 'search'at the top, the next screen comes up saying 'search of Milsurps.Com powe red by google' in bold lettering and no search box.

    Hi partner....

All you have to do is place your mouse pointer over the box that says Search Milsurps.com... click on that spot and the text Search Milsurps.com will disappear..

Now type a phrase in that box ie: enfield and press the small magnifying glass with your mouse pointer...

A new page will appear with all Google search results for the word enfield, but only for content on our site...

It is working fine, so I don't know what else could be wrong...

I see you're using Chrome Browser on a Linux system, so perhaps try another browser and see if that works?

    Regards,
    Doug

I get this too when using my iPhone. If I then select a option from the 'medium' drop down it loads the correct search page

I had our site software developer look at the "search" function when used on our "Mobile/Dial-up Slow Connections" display style....

He adjusted some code and it should now be working, but perhaps you guys that were having problems could check it and confirm that.

    Thanks ..

    Regards,
    Doug
