What do you think...is this Real ? I bought it then also found out its not for a NPM. So I either take it back or just keep it.

Looks good Frank, but I don't know which one it would be for.

Thanks Jim. I was going to go through the books later to check for myself.

Square S would be correct on Winchester, early Underwood, Standard Products, maybe others.

I did find some info in the Books, but found that 2 more Carbines used it in a '09 post.
"The square S sight was not only used by Winchester but several others too.
It was also used by Underwood,Saginaw Steering Gear and Standard Products too".
Well, now that I will be starting my .223 Shorty build soon , I guess in a drawer it goes hoping I don't lose it. I'm Still looking for one for a NPM.

I think I would send it back and get your money back if you can. While the square S stamped sight was used by a number of makers it was the predominate sight used by Winchester.
